Wow! That's what we say every time we take a look at this boy. Just wow! Conga is the product of one of our foundation dams - every cria she has produced for us has been a show winner. His sire is a Danko son from the Crescent Moon Ranch breeding program who has also produced a host of show winners. The combination has given us this exceptional boy.
Conga is conformationally sound, and his bite is normal. His fiber is extremely dense, extremely uniform and fine (21 microns and a CV of 18%!). The crimp style is very lovely high frequency, low amplitude crimp. And look at the coverage! We don't really need to say much about this boy - just check the photos.
Conga took second place at his first show, the Level V Great Western Alpaca Show in May, 2007. He was in a class of 10 and the Judge was Jude Anderson.
Photos, fiber samples and video tape of Conga available upon request.
Woodsedge Accoyo Augusto's No Fear
White
ARI#: 836755 DOB: 02-11-02
Dam: CPeruvian Delila Sire: 3Peruvian Augusto Breeding: Has been breeding since age of 2 Price: $10,000 for a half ownership
(Peruvian Augusto X CPeruvian Delila)
Wow! This one you've got to see! A full Peruvian Augusto son out of CPeruvian Delila, a white Peruvian import with a 19 micron fleece. No Fear carries a fleece that just won't quit - bold crimp, strong lock structure, total coverage, extremely uniform - and very nice conformation. He settled his first female at the age of two and his first crias arrived in 2005. We thought he would throw a lot of white but he is surprising us with mostly colored offspring, including light fawn and dark brown. All crias so far have shared his beautiful fiber characteristics!
We'd like to keep No Fear for our own breeding program but will consider a half ownership with the right partners for $10,000.
Cienega Creek Pink Floyd
Medium Fawn
ARI#: 845796 DOB: 10/31/02
Dam: Cienega Creek Rose Sire: CODI Peruvian Gipson Fawn Breeding: Floyd has settled females. Price: $5,000
Looking for a male with great potential? How about adding the Royal Fawn genetics to your breeding program? Want some grey genetics too? Floys is all of that, in one nice package. This almost five year old male is a grandson of the famous Royal Fawn on his sire's side and on his dam's side he comes from a line heavy with greys. His dam is a ribbon-winning light rose grey. Think about what this combination can bring to your herd!
Floyd is registered as fawn but shows a lot of grey throughout. He has very nice conformation and presence, and his uniform fleece demonstrates excellent crimp and lock structure with good coverage. This half-Peruvian male has been kept in a very small herd so has not had adequate opportunity to show what he can do. Take advantage of that with the nice low price and put him to work with your girls! Floyd is owned by Geoff and Vonda Haley of Carefree Farm Alpacas.
San Mateo
Medium Fawn
ARI#: 30642164 DOB: 10/23/06
Dam: HRAZ Hope Sire: HRAZ Lucian Breeding: Not breeding yet Price: $15,000
This beautiful young male is just about old enough to start his breding career, and it should be a stellar one. San Mateo brings a lot to the table, so give him a second look because this could be the one that 'does it' for your breeding program!
Starting with his pedigree, consider this line up of industry stars: Legacy, Augusto, Don Julio, and Drambuie. Add to that his beautiful fiber, which has already earned him a Reserve Championship at a large fleece show, with an AFD of 20 microns. At the 2008 AOBA national show, Mateo took first in Composite class due to his perfect conformation and bite!
San Mateo is owned by Blue Sun Alpacas in New Mexico. This farm is too small to be able to use Mateo's wonderful attributes, which is why they have listed him for sale. Take advantage of their situation and grab this boy before some other smart breeder does!
