White
ARI#: 30850132 DOB: 10/18/2007
Dam: Snowmass Starry Night Sire: Peruvian Presidio Price: $6000
What's not to like here? Pedigree? Got it! Loaded with big names such as Hemingway, P. Snowmaster, PP. Augusto, P. Presido, and more. Charleston, or Chaz as we call him, is a pefect carbon copy of his sire, the famous Peruvian Presidio, producer of many show winning crias. Chaz demonstrates all the traits of his sire, as well as the strength of the Snowmass breeding program that stands behind his dam. Here's a boy with destiny written all over him!
Chaz has excellent conformation, standing very square with great presence. He is large for his age and has the good solid bone structure necessary for years of breeding. But wait until you see his fiber! This is elite fleece, full of crimp and character with strong lock structure. The crimp on this guy starts below the knees and extends into his tail and topknot. You will want to get your hands on this one! 2009 AFD = 20.5 microns.
Chaz has missed being shown due to unusual events, including moving our entire ranch to central Montana. But we will gladly send fiber samples, video tapes and anything else you desire if you cannot visit Chaz in person. We know you will like what you see!
Cienega Creek Pink Floyd
Medium Fawn
ARI#: 845796 DOB: 10/31/02
Dam: Cienega Creek Rose Sire: CODI Peruvian Gipson Fawn Breeding: Floyd has settled females. Price: $4,000
Looking for a male with great potential? How about adding the Royal Fawn genetics to your breeding program? Want some grey genetics too? Floyd is all of that, in one nice package. This mature male is a grandson of the famous Royal Fawn on his sire's side and on his dam's side he comes from a line heavy with greys. His dam is a ribbon-winning light rose grey. Think about what this combination can bring to your herd!
Floyd is registered as fawn but shows a lot of grey throughout. He has very nice conformation and presence, and his uniform fleece demonstrates excellent crimp and lock structure with good coverage. This half-Peruvian male has been kept in a very small herd so has not had adequate opportunity to show what he can do. Take advantage of that with the nice low price and put him to work with your girls! Floyd is owned by Geoff and Vonda Haley of Carefree Farm Alpacas.
San Mateo
Medium Fawn
ARI#: 30642164 DOB: 10/23/06
Dam: HRAZ Hope Sire: HRAZ Lucian Breeding: Breeding age Price: $5,000
This beautiful young male is just starting his breeding career, and it should be a stellar one. San Mateo brings a lot to the table, so give him a second look because this could be the one that 'does it' for your breeding program!
Starting with his pedigree, consider this line up of industry stars: Legacy, Augusto, Don Julio, and Drambuie. Add to that his beautiful fiber, which has already earned him a Reserve Championship at a large fleece show, with an AFD of 20 microns. At the 2008 AOBA national show, Mateo took first in Composite class due to his perfect conformation and bite!
San Mateo is owned by Blue Sun Alpacas in New Mexico. This farm is too small to be able to use Mateo's wonderful attributes, which is why they have listed him for sale. Take advantage of their situation and grab this boy before some other smart breeder does!
