What beautiful color! Those who appreciate maroons know how rare this color is, and that it is connected to black genetically. Ginger Ale is a perfect addition for breeding programs aimed at the darker colors. Her fiber is quite fine for a dark alpaca (AFD 21 microns in 2007), with even crimp and excellent coverage. She stands tall and straight, with a good bite.
Ginger's first cria, Samba, was born without assistance in Fall 2008. Ginger showed perfect maternal instinct and is a great mom. Samba is a beautiful girl and we have decided to keep her in our breeding program, so we offer Ginger for sale.
We have chosen to leave Ginger open until summer 2009 in order to safely move her and the rest of our herd to central Montana. Buyers can choose their option for Ginger's breeding: for $12,000 we will send Ginger to one of the best black males in the country, multiple black color champion Crescent Moon's Nitro. If you prefer, for a price of $10,000 we will breed Ginger to any Cloud Dancer herdsire instead. Either way, the result should be show quality. (But act fast, since after mid-June 2009 we will have already sent Ginger to Crescent Moon Ranch for breeding).

Well, here's a deal! Priscilla is a lovely white maiden, 7/8 Peruvian and a daughter of Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon, a multiple champion winning white Accoyo male. Priscilla's pedigree also includes such Peruvian well-knowns as P. sorrento, P. Aladdin, and P. Lexus. Her conformation and bite are good. Her fiber is stunning, with excellent crimp and lock structure (see photo). She has a very nice bright fleece and good coverage. She is well-sized for her age.
